PROGRESS
Over the next 10-15 years our ambition is to create 16,000 new jobs, as the project aims to deliver over 5 million sq ft of commercial property space.
Most recently, we have completed the first part of a new £15million link road which will help to unlock the future development plots across Airport City North.
We have also unveiled a new social destination, Platform Airport City, which hosts community and networking events, alongside industry debates and has welcomed over 10,000 people since its launch in February 2017.
Airport City will be embarking on the next stage of its infrastructure development – the creation of a £6 million foot and cycle bridge.
The bridge will create a vital link between the airport and transport interchange with 90 acres of development at Airport City North, it will also give direct access to pedestrians and cyclists travelling to and from Wythenshawe.
