Airport City will serve global markets and major world cities by becoming an international business destination and transport hub, where companies from around the world converge to do business and exchange knowledge. It will offer hotel, conference, retail and leisure facilities, as well as an efficient aviation infrastructure that has the ability to accommodate growing volumes of passengers and cargo.

Airport City will be created through phased delivery during the next 15 years, at a cost of £650 million. Work will commence on the main site link road and infrastructure in the first quarter of 2012, with completion within 12 - 15 months thereafter. Upon completion, Airport City will provide up to:

• 1.4m ft2 logistics & warehousing
• 1.5m ft2 offices
• 650,000 ft2 advanced manufacturing
• Circa 2,400 hotel beds
• 100,000 ft2 ancillary retail

To attract national and international business that would not ordinarily locate in the region, or even the UK, Airport City’s commercial property offering
