Airport City Manchester offers hoteliers the opportunity to be located at a prime site next to one of the UK’s busiest airports.
The £180m Airport City hotel district will become home to four new hotels by 2021, providing 1,171 new hotel rooms and supporting the creation of around 500 jobs.
Manchester Airport passenger numbers are increasing organically, and the large scale development will generate significant additional demand by the creation of a new leisure and corporate business hub.
The Manchester Transformation Programme or MANTP is Manchester Airport’s 10-year, £1billion investment into the expansion and reconfiguration of Terminal 2 to cater for 30+ million passengers by 2024.
The scheme will be the international gateway to the Northern Powerhouse; and importantly we can double passenger volumes to 50+ million before we need a new runway.
