More than 100 guests from the UK and international markets took advantage of an important networking opportunity at the Airport City Manchester MIPIM Drinks reception.
The event provided the Joint Venture partners to highlight the progress made at Airport City Manchester, including attracting significant occupiers to its Global Logistics hub including, Amazon and DHL as well the start of the £15m construction of Enterprise Way, which will open up 70 acres of land next to the airport.
This major connectivity project, which is part of a £35m infrastructure investment by the joint venture partnership made up of MAG Property, Carillion, Beijing Engineering Construction Company and Greater Manchester Pension Fund, is a core part of the development of Airport City Manchester and its plan to create a collection of business and leisure campuses across the site.
Simon Eastwood, Development Director at Carillion, said: “The reception was very successful and demonstrated the interest in Airport City from the UK and international property market. The development is making significant progress and has exciting plans for the future, which were well received by investors, advisors and stakeholders at MIPIM.”
