Wythenshawe Business Gateway

Airport City Manchester will be represented by Duncan Seward, Development Manager from JV Partner MAG Property, at the next Wythenshawe Business Gateway event.

It takes place at Newall Green High School in Wythenshawe on Thursday 27th June at 5.15pm to 7.30pm.

The networking event is hosted by BW3, the organisation formed by a group of local businesses that actively supporting the economic and social regeneration of Wythenshawe, by volunteering time and expertise with the aim of changing lives.

The Wythenshawe Business Gateway event is free to attend and is hosted to enable local businesses to meet and make long term relationships with other local businesses, as well as hear from speakers about local and regional issues and projects relevant to the businesses in attendance.

The June event will feature an update from Duncan on the Airport City project, following recent approvals for a new ‘campus style’ headquarters for leading e-tailer, The Hut Group; and how plans are moving forward to build a new £250 million hotel district that will deliver in the region of 1500 beds across four hotels.

Other speakers at the event include:

  • Tyler Lappage – Nabarro Poole Ltd (Accountants/BW3 Treasurer)
  • Kevin Buchanan – Principal Newall Green High School and students from the School
  • Mike Kane – MP for Wythenshawe and Sale East
  • Raj Chandarana – Network Rail
